Wasn't sure where to post this, classifieds seems like it's just gear oriented. Mods, please feel free to move this if this isn't the appropriate area to post.
ISO: Part 107 Pilot w Phantom 4 Pro for one day shoot over ocean, launching and landing off of boat. We need to hire a Part 107 pilot for coverage of an outrigger paddling race on Saturday, September 8, 2018, leaving from Newport Beach, Ca. to Avalon Harbor, Catalina.
Must have a Phantom 4 Pro drone, not a Mavic Pro, Air, Spark or Inspire drone, we are specifically looking for footage from the Phantom 4 Pro only.
Must have experience in hand launching, hand catching the drone from a small 18'-25' boat under adverse conditions. Probably needs to be a two person team, you must carry liability insurance and your own insurance for your gear. Last years race, several drones went into the ocean but all flown by amateurs, which is why we want to hire professional Part 107 pilot who is experienced in flying over the ocean specifically. We have budget. Not a feature film budget but enough to make it a nominally paying gig considering our film is a microbudgeted documentary.
