Ipad upgraded app

My ipad auto upgraded the dji app. I have not upgraded my p2+ software, waiting to follow more forum results. Can I still fly my ship without upgrading it?

You should be able to fly. The feature will be non usable and appear light grey until the firm is also upgraded.

Btw, I do not let any device auto load or auto install on anything I own. I want to know what others say about any update on their stuff before I add a update. Just look at the amount of pilots that asre having trouble and wished they did update their firmware.
