Hey everyone i have a p4 and a ipad with a7.9 in screen. The controler won’t fit into case without taking mount off. I know it’s only 1 regular screw and a thumb screw but does any one know of a quick release mount of good quality that will hold an iPad securely

What case? Stock DJI case with stock controller?
7.9 sounds like a iPad mini. DJI mount on a p4 controller is actually a very good mount.

Picture of what you’re trying to do? The mini can’t be left in the rc and still have room to go in the case.

My prior iPad was an Air 2, and it had the 9.7" screen. It fit nicely into the P4 remote's stock device holder, but the iPad's case had to be removed. I'm not sure if that is what you are asking.
I never left the iPad in the device holder as a means of transporting it though, and it certainly would not have fit that way into my case, or any other conveiniently sized case that I know of.
