@msinger and @brigerdrones.........after testing I can also confirm that the recent DJI GoApp update works with iOS 26 on my iPads (8th & 10th generations) on my P3 Standards.

So if I go into my phone and go to apps and update the DJI GO app, everything should function properly? I don’t really want to have to get too techie doing this, like hooking to my computer. I’ve had this drone since it hit the market and don’t want to brick it. I may be better off just not updating any thing and use my old phone. Thanks for everyone’s help.@msinger and @brigerdrones.........after testing I can also confirm that the recent DJI GoApp update works with iOS 26 on my iPads (8th & 10th generations) on my P3 Standards.

I downloaded the GoApp to my newer iPad 10 that I don't use for drone flying that runs iOS 26,....and the app runs as normal. So, I flew one of my P3S's to be sure.....and all is well.So if I go into my phone and go to apps and update the DJI GO app, everything should function properly? Ballsy man. Glad to know it’s working. Can you still get it from DJI site or is it on a 3rd party site ? I may give it a shot. Then updated the iPad 8 I use only for drones to iOS 26 and flew the P3S's as well. No issues other than the usual message that a firmware update is available. Haven't updated firmware since 2016, and both drones fly fine.....so I will continue to ignore this message.
So far the iOS 26 update and the GoApp are playing nice.
I just downloaded it from the App Store. It is version # 3.1.81 if you want to double check before the download.Ballsy man. Glad to know it’s working. Can you still get it from DJI site or is it on a 3rd party site ? I may give it a shot. Thanks again.
Do you have any suggestions for range extenders? Read about a couple but would rather get better info from someone that knows if they are worth it. I think I read that msinger sells them and parts. Just download it to your new phone first, that way if it doesn't work correctly, you still have your old phone to fly. That's what I did with mine......tried the iPad 10 first (since I use the iPad 8 to fly) . It worked on the 10.....so I tried the 8, which worked also.
Ballsy? Nah. I had a plan B if it didn't work on the 10.
I run a Itelite DBS for my P3S Standards. It helps with the wimpy wifi signal it uses. Better range and less signal drop-out. Works best at higher altitudes, away from building and tree interference.Do you have any suggestions for range extenders? Just wanted to pass this along. My DJI GO app showed it needed to be updated when I first started talking to you. I didn’t update it at the time. So I went to check that everything worked with my backup phone and it did. Checked with my current phone and everything worked. Updated my current phone to iOS 26. Went and checked the GO app, which had updated sometime since I talked to you and everything is working perfectly. Thanks for your help with everything. It seems like it updated and worked by itself.I run a Itelite DBS for my P3S Standards. It helps with the wimpy wifi signal it uses. Better range and less signal drop-out. Got mine MANY years ago, direct from Itelite.
(Itedbs.com) Comes complete with the mounting brackets and cables. Assembly not too bad if you take your time and not rush.
Good to hear that it worked out. One suggestion though. Turn your automatic updates off on the phone you use for the drone........just in case another update comes along that might not be compatible.Just wanted to pass this along.
