I tested (not flew) connectivity using 10.2.5 beta on the iPad Pro 10.5 and controller had no trouble communicating with the P4P. Ran the app for about 15 min exploring the setting, etc.. No crashes. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works ok on Sunday. That'll be my first time to fly it.

I got the 11.2.1 to connect to the P4PO. I was trying to downgrade to 11.2 but ended up restoring to 11.2.1 even though I was already on 11.2.1 through iTunes. Maybe the update on the iPad did an incomplete update. Who knows!

Same here... Just got my P4P a couple of days ago and waiting on replacement battery...I got one of the lemons. I did use a borrowed spare last night and did all of the firmware upgrades to controller and copter... Haven’t tried connecting controller to P4P yet... Is it working on your iPad 10.5 with 11.2.5 beta?

BTW: Holy cow is the 10.5 TIGHT in the controller...

Thanks in advance!

Andrew

You can solve the problem for less than 1$.

All you need is a coat hanger and a piece of heat shrink tubing.

[I="GMack, post: 1299874, member: 68522"]Something wrong with mine (Air 2). Updated it to 11.2.1 and iGO 4.1.8 screen comes on with the green "Ready to Fly" but gimbal is inactive with the C1 and the RC Version in the about part of GO is N/A. I'm doing a Refresh via iTunes and it's reloading all the apps now and GO is slow to update, but it's probably the largest app too.[/QUOTE]

I had same problem. Ended up deleating the app and reinstalling. No further problems.

Whenver a new computer operating system comes, it uses current technology that is out on current devices. They are made backward compatible with older devices. Depending how old your device is on the backward compatibility scale, you may experience slow response time. May not be apparent on built in apps but could be on 3rd party apps like DJI GO 4. It is best to leave 9.7 on 10.3.3. I have ipad 10.5 but upgraded to current version of 11. This is were I leave my ios level at as long as I run DJI software on my ipad.

Are you suggesting the iOS/Mini 2 issue caused your AC to crash? Doubtful.
