i crashed my P4P and so expensive to fix I am looking to purchase another drone to use with my controller, batteries, etc.
Is there any issue with registration and or use of my P4P controller with a different P4P drone?

No. You can link any P4P remote controller to any P4P in DJI GO like this:

We dont see any issues in using good parts for the new P4P.
