Installed New Tablet Holder

I bought from Amazon the Hooshion Mobile Tablet Holder and the Skyreat copper signal booster. The tablet holder is very steady and opens up nicely for 8 inch tablet should hold a 10 inch also. It can be turned 180 dergrees so to use the other side for phones. The signal booster seems to work well in my neighborhood and thanks to other postings on the forum I know to keep controller pointed at drone. I would recommend both these products. I posted pics

Is that tablet holder plastic or metal? Specifically the 'tubes' that run the length? Metal or silver plastic? Are they spring loaded? Do they 'lock'? Looks good. Thanks.

the part that mounts to the controller is aluminum, the tubes are a very hard plastic painted silver. It does have metal rods that travel inside the tubes and a very good spring. It grips extremely well no slippage yet and I have even let it dangle around my neck, by the controller lanyard as I was setting up the drone for flight. But to your question of does it lock, no, holds by spring pressure

No you don't. It attaches through the lanyard hole.
