The pic is a little misleading. The pic makes the top half of the inside antenna look like a shadow. But it should look the same as the bottom half. The camera angle was a little off.

Gawd... Seeing what's inside that puny little antenna doesn't give me a great deal of faith in its reliablility...

I agree. I did the antenna mod, putting a new connector on the transmitter, if for no other reason than to make it more reliable. I don't like the wire spinning around every time you move the antenna. Maybe it's because I'm used to the hobby grade transmitters (in the hobby 30+ years) and the DJI seems flimsy to me. I also added a charge jack, which all my r/c transmitters have built-in.
