I am trying to make sense of this. You know, an old fart trying to figure out what the admins mean about Youtube; if I am correct, I am not allowed to post any Youtube videos here. So, I think they mean posting your Youtube channel link is OK, but not direct link to videos?
So, can I post Vimeo videos? Please remove if this is not allowed.

I've been here since 2014 and I think this is my first video post.

What I think you are asking and will try and answer you is this .
Here Youtube Channels - ALL YOUTUBE LINKS GO HERE ONLY- NO VIDEOS
You put just your channel and not video's cause it would be full of videos and would take you forever to read the thread.
As far as posting your video in this section yes you can and I use Vimeo .
Also if you will go in your video settings you will see this link, copy and paste this here you will have the video not a link .
