How to revert to older firmware for P2V+

Can anyone provide info or instructions on how to revert back to the older firmware for the P2V+ ? Looks like the new firmware 3.0 is causing a lot of fly aways and crashes and I will be getting my P2V+ today and don't want to take the chance and want to revert to an older firmware.

But I have a few questions myself.

-Do you also have to flash your TX? That has to match the firmware of the vision, correct?
-Will the latest iOS app work with 1.08 or do I have to downgrade that as well?
-Also, there is a lot of talk about 1.08 not having FPV, that's just FPV mode for the gimbal, you can still use the app to fly FPV correct?

I can answer questions 1 and 3. I have an android so I don't know about the ios app. I just downgraded to 1.08 last night and flew problem free this morning.
1. I did nothing to my TX. It works fine as it came from dji with my plus.
2. No answer.
3. The FPV mode that locks the gimbal roll does not work. The gimbal itself works perfectly on all three axes and the pitch can be controlled thru the app as usual.

Oh just as an FYI I have only 1 flight under my belt with 1.08 so not even close to claiming any success. Also had 10 batteries of flawless flying with 3.0 before my descent issue. 8 of those in NAZA.
