Holystone Drone flight distance

HI,
I am new to drone flying and am getting used to the basics. However my holystone ha720e only seems to fly about 100 feet away from me and then stops. it also won't turn at that point unless i back it up towards first. I can't find a reason in the instructions, am I missing or not done something? any help would be appreciated.
