Anyone here using this product ? planning to get this for my P3A. Tips/Advice or ideas please?

Aside from the added weight the technical issues will be with antennas and compass.

Raising the legs will reorient the antennas from vertical to horizontal polarity reducing range and effectiveness and the compass is a 3-axis type and will have to be relocated to maintain proper orientation.

Not a good return on the investment but, TEHO

i would be fearful of having a failure and not being able to deploy the legs. that would also make hand catching it pretty terrifying i think.

The aluminum version on Banggood shows more photos, but I still don't see how you would activate it using the included parts.
Thought this might be something interesting to adapt for the fishing line drop sort of scenario if it had a clever activation scenario.

Without a 360 degree panning camera, there's no point in retracts.
