I could see our local fire department's hook and ladder truck was fully raised at a shopping center well over a mile away. I noticed there was someone in the bucket. So I waved and he waved back.

That kind of vision would be very useful flying the Phantom. And the fireman also had the same ability too.
Amazing that the only two humans with this super power were there together at that time.
