The b model plastic is not good and is a known issue. A lot of people went to the c model just for that reason.

Yes, my original controller was the B and the screw mounts are toasted. I bought a new one that is a C but won't charge so I want to switch circuit boards but I'm not sure if they are interchangeable.
Not yet, I'm waiting to see if I hear back from the seller before I crack the new one open, I'm just trying to see what some options would be if he doesn't respond.
