Help! P2 Vision Plus error "Phantom connection broken"

I'm working on a P2 Vision plus with stock gimbal and camera. I've tried rebinding the range extender, drone and controller. Even the reset button on the gimbal base. When I connect my LG android it finds the connection clearly but when I turn on the DJI Vision app it gives me the error "Phantom connection break". I've checked the wifi setting on the phone and as far as I can tell it's doing what it should be doing. This seems to be a common problem with the P2 vision plus! I've been told it could be the wifi board via YouTube but mostly people asking the same questions. So any help, guidance will be greatly appreciated..

This sounds like the wifi module has broken.

Can I ask whether you can see the flight data such as altitude and drone battery life? But you can't see any video?

If so then this is a very common problem and means that the NAND chip in your bottom wifi module board has been corrupted. This can be fixed by removing it from the drone, soldering leads onto the board, connecting it up to a computer and manually reflashing the software. It's quite a complex process.

I have same error + the gimbal is broken, but my question is, can I still get battery warning even flying "in visión" Mode? Indont want to lose the drone a create an accident

thats not a reset button thats a manual start recording/take picture button


Phantom connection break".

The usual cause is a bad binding, or a faulty camera, I find that Android has to be on 4 or 5 to get a good binding, anything above that and issues with binding can occur, also is the camera light a nice steady green or is it flashing?


I've been told it could be the wifi board

If its the WIFI module then it just shows a black screen with telemetry data when using an Android phone or a black screen with a spinning circle if using IOS.

Hi! I have a Phantom 2 Vision Plus+ and although the video is working thru Wifi (DJI Vision app) after sometime it disconnects and show the message "Phantom connection break". The drone is very close to the wifi repeater and also is my device, so it's not a signal issue. What could be the reason for that ? Thanks

BTW, i'm using the DJI Vision app on an iPhone 13 Pro. I tried the DJI Vision app for android downloaded from apk pure, but it gives a login error and nothing happens when connected to the wifi repeater. Also tried the DJI Vision app on iPhone 8 but it crashes instantly.
