No. It's more likely the coverage of idiots doing dumb stuff with actual quads plus the paranoia that these things have some kind of amazing zoom ability with miraculously low focal length. My guess is if anyone is actually comparing our drones to the ones that launch weapons... They didn't get past the 4th grade.
