I have bought many items on Craigslist and never got mislead. Go, inspect and then pay. Never meet at a remote place.

It's always buyer beware with used items.

I always meet at a public place, though not 'remote'. I prefer and use Police, Sheriff, or Fire Stations

You can't judge the 'service' by it's users.

I've never had a problem.
I've also 'walked away' several times.

There have been unscrupulous sellers on this site too.
