Getting pretty strict up here.

$3000 fines for flying over people or animals, within 75 m of a building and no higher than 90 m.

Still need to look into whether that's EVERYWHERE or if there are any clear areas.

This is exactly the reason I got in when I did... to try to beat exactly this type of thing.

No night flying, no clouds, no further than 500 m. This pretty much answers the question of whether I need one with greater range than a P3S.

Sorry but this is being discussed here Recreational drone now illegal in most of Canada...
