I acquired an old Phantom 1 and am a little confused on the 3 position gps/atti mode switch at the top right of the transmitter. I understand the top position of the switch is for GPS mode and middle position is for regular atti mode and am wondering what the bottom "atti" switch position is used for?

I believe the bottom Atti mode is similar to a manual mode, meaning you have to control all aspects of flight. It has been a long time since I had a Phantom 1 in my hands so I may be incorrect.
