Has anyone seen any good pictures of the monitor mount or could you post a couple for me?

From what I've read the iPad Air 2 won't fit if the case is very big. I have a Griffin Survivor Slim and I'm thinking about one of the holders below and will work out some type of quick release for it. They also have some with different size ball mounts, etc.

Thanks
My ipad air fit perfect

So imagine adding the space a case takes up, would it still fit?

I don't use a case. I get a new one every 2 or so years so a few scatches on the back don't bother me. I do have a anti glare shield installed on the front to cut glare though

I don't have my p3 yet, so please someone who does feel free to chime in.

According to the specs on dji.com the controller can hold a tablet up to 170mm tall (or wide, if you put the tablet in landscape, as many do).

The iPad air and iPad Air 2, according to Apple.com is 169.5mm wide. So by specs alone, you have a tolerance of .5mm. Now, in practice, I'd suspect that the dji controller opens to at least a few mm wider (again, assumption. Mine has not arrived yet) to be able to let a full 170mm tablet slide in and be gripped.

So really what you need is someone to open the controller "jaws" to their full extent and take a photo measuring the gap between the iPad and the jaw, to see how much space is left for a case.

Hope that helps a bit. Should have my p3 by Thursday, so worst case I can snap some photos for you then, but I suspect someone else can accommodate you in a shorter timeframe :)
