I've been having a tough time finding any really good info on the consideration for starting a drone business, mainly figuring how much money I can actually make and what I should charge. For anyone else, I found this article which goes into it a bit with some good points. It doesn't cover everything but I'm now rethinking about opening my own business.

Starting a Drone Business Is More Than Photography - Ideas, Plans, Pricing

It doesn't cover how hard it can be getting customers and keeping them in an over-saturated market.
Finding the work and keeping it coming is a very real concern.

Indeed...the market is completely flooded right now. It will take several years for the "survival of the fittest" scenario to play out.

Yes the market is very heavily saturated right now. I know a lot of realtors are going out and buying drones to do their own work without passing the Part 107 certification.

Weddings. Pay is great and people get married every weekend. I know everyone wants to be hired for aerial tower inspections or the next cool movie or tv commercial shoot, but in reality, that market is niche to say the least.
I've paid for my P3P 4x over now...from weddings.
Happy flying.
