GL300C RC not connecting to phantom 4 pro?

Tried all the steps on dji and on forum won't connect. Blue light flashing on rc with beeping red light on drone flashing but nothing happens? Any ideas?

I don't think the GL300C is compatible with the Phantom 4 Pro aircraft, according to the manual, only the GL300E and GL300F are.
