Well that depnds how many coffees it takes
Yeh phantom not like to sit without airflow ,p3s for example has no fan,,if gets bit warm have fan blowing on gimble while on,,,,lots do this,,(it probly think it air cooled 2stroke with fins)
If realy to hot mayby investigate furthur,,,does of smell burning

You didnt say what aircraft you have but I'm guessing it's a P3 and yes the gimbals get hot when powered up and not flying and can actually overheat causing loss of live video feed (FPV). The P3P is the worst for getting hot and as said above, any time you have the AC powered up with no props running you should have a small fan blowing on the gimbal for cooling.
