Gimbal Questions/recommendations

My brother has a GoPro, I have a (genuine) SJCAM SJ4000 and I like my camera much better than his and have been a photography buff for over 40 years. No customer service though and the battery door is a silly problem that should not exist, photos and video from this little thing are awesome though. If I'd change anything it would be for them to support 16:9 widescreen stills.
The attached still was a frame extracted from a video.

However should have a Yuneec Q500+ next week and since that comes with it's own camera may not have a lot more posted from the SJ... but never know.

Just came back from O.C. ... very rare it's not way too windy out there for this drone setup but again, some decent stills. Wish I had dared to go further and higher... maybe next time with the new quad.

To me, it doesn't look like higher would have produced a better picture.

Ocean City, Maryland. Yeah a higher shot would have just been a different perspective and shown the whole "island"..
