Gimbal not responding to controller dial?

So, my first flight went ok. Only issue I had was the gimbal/camera wouldn't move as I moved the dial on the controller. After I landed, I checked and saw that the drone needed a firmware update. Controller did not. Would this have caused the issue? I had to go to work, so didn't get to see if that fixed it. Thanks.

No. Try calibrating the remote controller -- like this:

This happened to me when my gimbal went limp and locked in the down position.

Downgrade your firmware.
