Gimbal cable protector

Has anyone seen the gimbal cable cover or used one? You take the back casing off and replace it with this one that covers the entire cable.
Don’t know why DJI just didn’t do this from the start.
Let me know your thoughts.

I don't see your photo or link.

However I use the Killer Gimbal guard on my P3P, protecting the gimbal from separation upon impact.

As for DJI's motivation for not using something more rugged? $$$$ They make more money when you crash.

I know they sell it for the Pro & Advanced, and I'm fairly sure I saw it sold for the Standard as well somewhere but, I'm not finding it right now in a quick search. I'll try searching more later.

Yes those are the ones I was referring to. I saw they had them on the Wish app. Just didn't know if they were a good idea or just something to "scare" you into a purchase.

There's no shortage of them for P3A/Pro, but few that I found for the Standard. This is one but, I see it's listed for all three models. Not sure if that's actually compatible with the Standard though...

I contacted the seller and asked them to confirm compatibility with the P3S. They're in China, so I may not get a quick response. Will post back when I do.

Most likely it has more to do with price point than anything else. Like too many consumer products, it's just one more additional cost that isn't necessary for operation of the product. Their primary focus is likely selling a reasonably well made product at a specific price-point that will help them retain market share.
