Start out by checking out the remote pilot study guide on the Faa website .

Study hard, it's a serious test. I studied quite a bit and only scored an 83% (70% or higher needed to pass).

The test is $150 then you have to register your drone again (commercially this time) for $5 thats all.

Hi Chris, you really need to give a little more information on what you are thinking of doing with drone when asking a question like that, to assist sensible replies. Its like saying what's the best car to buy? Depends on definition of 'best' - price, speed, maintenance costs, size, appearance etc.. Cheers

Check out store.dji.com/refurbished - you can get their products there for a considerable discount. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see what a refurbished drone is. I picked up my P4 for $799. Also, keep an eye out for sales, DJI is constantly changing prices and you can find them on Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and a bunch of on-line retailers... as always, caveat emptor...
