Has anyone in the US tried getting insurance for an aerial-based business? I don't have a business yet, but I was thinking of starting one on the side...
I've tried a number of agents and after a day or two they all come back saying they don't do that type of insurance.
I know that commercial remote-controlled photography is a grey area right now in the US so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Given what I've read about some court cases it seems like the precedent would be in my favor for now and I'd like to at least look into it. My accountant went over the business side of things with me and insurance seems to be the thing I'm having the hardest time finding...
What's your take on insurance and commercial aerial photography in general (in the US). It seems like commercial aerial photography appears in TV shows and commercials and promos everywhere so I imagine people are doing it...
