I've had my phantom 2 for almost a year now I've become quite adept at repairs. This seems like a great group here so hopefully I can learn how to fly better than I crash.
I've been into moving pictures for most of my life and always like to find new ways to move the camera. That's what got me into trying to fly one. I'm not sure where it will lead but it is fun when she's in the air so for now it's sort of a hobby.
Thanks for the help so far!

Yes there is a huge amount of knowledge here, and I have benefited greatly from all the freely shared knowledge,so thanks to all contributors.
I had a P2 but upgraded, however the P2 is great for modding, easy to open, and all the parts are easy to get at, sometimes wish I had kept it,but her indoors.............
Enjoy your flying.

Pardon my ignorance I guess Modding refers to modifying but what do you mean by "her indoors"?

Ha. I was wondering the same thing.

(Ignore the "P". Can't seem to get rid of it).
Sorry it is a UK expression, actually more a London cockney expression, meaning the wife. Probably a bit sexist so apologies if it offends, but it is in regular use in the UK.
I have a lovely wife, but there are only so many toys I can get away with.
