Hello,
My name is Cristofer and I write from Chile.
Since 2 years ago approx. I have dedicated myself to research on crop agriculture / crop analysis, until I buy PH4. I only have 1 flight.
I like programming and working in Python, thus I have access to Electronics, Robotics, Web, Consumption of Api, Artificial Vision, etc.
The weekend I had my first flight where I took a couple of photos and made some videos.
Take photos in RAW format (DNG) to be able to process them later, but the library "openCV" does not support that format, so change all the photos in TIFF format. To do this, write the code to do automatically.
Then I dedicate an extract EXIF data to be able to determine the width of the pixel to be able to know how much area it covers the photo. According to this page http://www.xdrones.es/aerial-camera-...nt-calculator/, I need 6 data but I can not find the Gimbal Angle, and the Sensor Width.
Some of you can help me, or recommend it to me.

PD: Using linux, Ubuntu 16.04.

I pay attention to comments.

Excuse my English

The sensor width is 6.17mm (1/2.3" diagonal with a 4:3 aspect ratio).

I cant help you with how you might extract Gimble angle from EXIF however it might be that you could set to a known angle for the flight where the images are acquired and use that value.

Have fun..........

Thank you very much.
Find the exact sensor data 6.31748 x 4.73811

I have managed to extract this data from the EXIF file.

I am having fun :D
