Galaxy tab 3 laggy how can I smooth it out?

Based on the info from the phantom helps must have list, I purchased a Samsung galaxy tab 3 lite. I followed some of the suggestions to kick out apps which slow it down but it's still laggy. What if anything can I do to speed up or smooth out the feed from the aircraft. Or should I look for a different tablet and if so which one? I'm flying a P3P.

The best experience is with the iPad, Mini or Air..

I use the same device. That is just the way it is. It's laggy. There is no way to improve it. It has a slow processor. I finally broke down and bought an IPAD Air 2. I haven't tried to fly with it yet. It seems to be the device of choice though.
