Futaba transmitter on Vision + V3

Hello people,

This is my first post, thanks in advance to somebody who is taking the time to respond to me.

If have a very easy question for people who know much about this but I can't seem to find the answer.

I want to bind a futaba transmitter to my vision +. But I understand that because the vision and vision + are the only two drones on frequency 5.8 and the camera on 2.4 so it is not possible to do that.

Q1: is that correct or are there other ways?

Q2: if its true that about the frequency thing, what about the phantom 3? Its is operating on 2.4 ghz and her camera is also? So what am I missing? Why is this not interfering and in the vision + it is when you change to futaba 2.4 ghz?

Q3:what do I need to buy and to do to make it happen, if its possible?

The answer is you must convert the VTx/FPV to 5.8GHz if you want to convert the control to 2.4GHz.

This is not feasible for most and not sure I recall anyone posting that they did it.

The Phantoms are a closed eco-system and getting more so with each iteration.

Not intended for significant mods or additions.

Ok that's a pitty, then I have to do the DBS mod to gain more range.
