FPV recording

I Have the P2 with IOSD Mini and Immersion FPV transmitter. The GoPro records the flights as seen through it's lens, but is there any way of recording the flight from the FatShark goggles so can also have a record of the flight with the IOSD data? The goggles came with an AV cable, but has anyone had success in linking to a tablet or a notebook computer? Can't really carry a VCR or DVDR in the field

I don't have one, but here is an example of a mobile DVR. As small as a tablet or laptop.

Not the same price, but FPV-Japan DVR looks nice and get no corrupted video when signal is lost (which is an issue on other devices):

Will the computer keep recording if there is a lost signal? I'm assuming it would but wanted to check.

Yea it records whatever is being imputed into the computer....whatever your fpv monitor or goggles aee
