That's brilliant thankyou. I have insurance and only fly recreationally so should be fine. Do you know if you can fly over the national parks there?Hi, sure others here will help you.
On all Spain this rules applies:
- not flying in cities/ towns / anyplacewereanyamountofpeoplelive
-not flying over people or were people are gathered
- not night flying
- always LOS
- 120mt top altitude
- normal regulation on flying near airports/airfields/heliports
- all damage caused by the drone is your sole responsibility (economically speaking)
If anyone have somethings I'm forgetting please post
@jskdog enjoy your time in lanzarote
EDIT:
I forgot to mention that this are only for hobby flying if you are a professional user you need a license
Thankyou, I'll see if I can get any contact info for the relevant authorities, I'd hate to get my drone taken off me!There are several YouTube videos but I can't assure what will happen in case you cross with any type of authority officer, here you have the DJI Geo info for lanzarote, it seems that I'll be ok to fly in the parks but it wouldn't hurt to ask the park authorities if you find one
U must search about specific PORN (Plan de Ordenación de los Recursos Naturales). But let me explain, there are a reason for protect that spaces, in Spain the Nacional Parks are based a lot in the ZEPAS (Zonas de Especial Protección para Aves). U cant fligh near to protected birds species. That's brilliant thankyou. I have insurance and only fly recreationally so should be fine. Do you know if you can fly over the national parks there?
Thankyou for the information, we have similar places in the Uk SSSI (sites of special scientific interest). I shall do plenty of research, I need to as I don't have a drone yet and looking at a P4 or inspire 1, if I can't fly many places in Lanzarote I won't take a drone and get an inspire, bit if I can, I'll get a P4 as they're easier for travelling with.U must search about specific PORN (Plan de Ordenación de los Recursos Naturales). I dont mind if u fly over people and kill 1 or 2, but for the love of god, dont touch the animals.
I keep thinking I'll just get a new P4 ad a few batteries, I don't think my wife would appreciate me getting an inspire and P4@jskdog I was also between the P4 and the inspire but as my plans are to take it with me on travels I did some research and find that most places I plan to go (i.e Thailand) take any drone over 2kg as a device for commercial use so I'm after a P4 right know
