Anyone take a camp type chair along on flights? Interference from metal legs maybe an issue? My back is begging me.

Interference from metal legs maybe an issue?
The chairs don't emit any radio waves so they won't cause any interference.
Perhaps you are thinking there may be some magnetic effect?
The legs are probably aluminium but if they were steel, they are a long way from the Phantom and not going to affect it.
If a magnetic influence close to the controller was an issue, the cars would be contributing 1000x more.

The designated drone field that I fly at has nice picnic tables to sit at. Sitting on the bench the table top is the perfect height for the RC. They also have cement launching/landing pads with no rebar. No need to stand as I always fly line of sight.

I almost always have a chair in case there isn't a bench or other place to sit. My only problem is when flying at home, everytime I get up my cat decides to claim the chair as his own.
