Flight route on map

I was tinkering with the setting and I turned off the flight route(I think). The map in the bottom right corner is no longer showing the path I took. How do I bring that back?

its called "show flight route" in one of the settings menus. i can't remember which off the top of my head, but you can't miss it.

I had that on.. So it must be something else?
