In recently upgrated from zenmuse 2-d into 3d and installed the interface board inside my phantom .... now i notice on the left side of the drone on the body there is a small hole which now is iluminating green ... i am sure that light was not on before ! what is it ? it seams that there is a small clear plastic that transfers the green light from inside of the drone to the shell ????

You mean the green light on the RIGHT (no left) side of the P2, on the bottom? That's the radio receiver light. Green indicates it's receiving the transmitters signal. If you've flow before with no problem, the light has probably been on, you just never noticed it.
It's the button that you use to "pair" the Phantom with a transmitter. If you ever replace the transmitter for any reason, it won't control your Phantom until you press that button.
