Ok, so I'm new to this, and purchasing a Phantom soon, but, Ive read about folks updating there firmware, and having problems with it. I was wondering, why update if your craft is flying fine? no problems.
Ok, so I'm new to this, and purchasing a Phantom soon, but, Ive read about folks updating there firmware, and having problems with it. I was wondering, why update if your craft is flying fine? no problems.
Well we update to hopefully iron out known bugs/problems and to maybe get some new features.
Same reason you update firmware on other devices, same reason you update a smartphones' OS. It's just good to keep up with the latest firmware and that doesn't apply just to the Phantom but for all devices in general.
And as with other firmware updates, sometimes it can make things worse. You're right.
