Firmware download

I'm really sorry to ask such a noob question but I got my P4 today and it asked me download a firmware update. Everything did what it should do. Did this update just the RC or both devices?

If it's brand new then both. Did it tell you to connect your device to the aircraft?

It seemed to update first the RC and then the device. Looked like it did both over the air?

Aircraft will need to be connected and updated via supplied MicroUSB <-> USB adapter. What device are you using to update your AC and RC?
