At a fireworks display last night, and they tried attaching a "waterfall" firework to a drone and flying it around.

Looked good whlie it lasted. The temperature of wire works are way to hot to be doing those shenanigans.

What does the poor UAV look like? Photos?
Maybe the bird is okay, just the support wire failed?

I didn't get to see, but it had to be put out with a fire extinguisher, so I'd say it wasn't going to be in good condition. I'm guessing the heat of the firework set the plastic body alight or something. I have no idea what brand or make it was, other than I was told "Later on they're going to have an early model drone that they've attached a waterfall to, as an experiment"

I was there with Overall Photography who were there doing the aerial footage for the event. None of us would have done that with our drones. Not unless it was hanging 6 foot behind it on a fireproof heat proof line ... probably not even then actually.
