Finally... I got it :)

I've got 2 pairs which I used once or twice. They show up in the videos and are not as great as you would expect.

So Im understanding that the best and safest solution (for both the pilot and the drone) is a manual landing executed in an extremely slow way...

In this scenario a landing pad helps ?
 
Hand catch is the way to go most of the time guys! Never one issue. You just watch what the heck your doing! Piece of cake!
 
There is satifaction in being able to take off and land your craft smoothly and safely, I do it every time and only hand catch in high winds or crappy landing surfaces. The landing surface has to be level for a safe landing because they are top heavy, if your VPS is well calibrated the landing can be very very smooth.

Tip: The RTH altitude setting—which you should always confirm/change before each flight—is set in meters NOT in feet!
