Filters/Video/Pictures

I have a few questions regarding Filters. I've attached a video I took last night. It is very "faded" compared to how it actually was in person. I am also attaching a few photos I took last week that I don't know what happened. It is like over saturation or something. The sky was absolutely stunning and VERY VERY bright with color. Is that why this happened? I have taken tons of sunsets before but never had this happened. Although again, the sky was so vibrant. I've ordered TACO-rc Filters with the hope that it will help. I was so disappointed as it was a magnificent sky.
