There was a member on the Mavic forum wondering what the difference was about flying over water.
Here is a video of boats in New Zealand
Just need to take the risk
All launches and recoveries were from the boat filmed in each case.

Well done

There are 2 differences flying over water, if you crash the drone won't break. And if you crash you won't get it back lol.

Really great video! I think your video editing is totally fine. I would recommend shortening a couple of the scenes where the framing gets off a little bit. It'll shorten the video a little but give a much tighter feel!

You have some truly fantastic shots with the reflection of the landscape on the clear water! Great job!

Awesome video!

Well done sir, well done. I don't have the stones to fly mine over water like that...yet

Nice flying and video capture/post-processing. I am working on a documentary of a couple and their sailboat. Has anyone had success in launching and recovering on a sailboat. Assume winds of 10-15 mph and lots of rigging to deal with during launch and recovery.
