I recently filmed with my P4P+ in Mauritius, below is some useful info for people looking to do the same:
- The people generally very easy going about drones (true during February 2017).
- There is a Class C airspace around the airport which has been proposed to expand to 25NM, this is not in effect (March 2017).
- Look out for Paille-en-queue, Tropic bird or Straw tail, image below:
I daily attempts at attacks from these. Very hostile towards the drone and big enough to take a P4P+ out, as well as itself!
- Generally if you stick to the CAA Drone code you will be fine, if you're flying over shorelines or water, theres not much to collide with other than water and rocks.
