First timer, just received an alert that my shipment of my new Phantom 4 has arrived. Just need to figure out how to get past the "don't open 'til Christmas" pov my wife has. Will be a challenging 26 days for sure.

well since you only have 7 days to return the item for a refund then it is your duty to fly it to make sure everything works okay.
just buy her a ring , problem solved lolman, i wouldnt like being in your shoes..., however argument above is definitely worth discussing w. wifey! good luck!

You have seen all of those empty wrapped presents under Christmas trees in offices and other public displays. Why don't you remove the Phantom from the box without your woman's knowledge, and have her put the empty box under the tree after having wrapped it? When she isn't around, go fly your new Phantom.
