Instead of getting the new backplate for the remote, could you just run the goggles off your HDMI output on the tablet ?

Cheaper than $90 more for the add on plate.

Yes. I use Cinemizers connected to the Nvidea Shield. The nice thing about that, is it mirrors the image, and shows full telemetry. The HDMI board only shows part of the telemetry.

Which tablet do you have?
