External monitor.. Fpv

Hey guys anyone using a tv/monitor as an external... I fly with my cousins a lot and thought about mounting some sort of monitor to the back door of my fj and hook it up while flying.. Curious as to what you guys use.. Im looking towards something wide vs square..

I have thought about using a lap top as a monitor. I guess as long as what you want to try has HDMI go for it & see what its like.
