Drones that can follow a pre-set route?

Hi

Complete beginner in the world of drones so appreciate any help with my query below...
Anyone tell me if there are any drones available that can follow something like a stream or river?
I want to video my local stream from say 50-75m up. It's not accessible (farmland etc) so I figure if I can somehow enter a pre-determined route (of the stream) a drone would be ideal.
I don't know if this technology is available or even how I would get the co-ordinates to set the stream's route if I could do it so any help would be appreciated.

What you are looking for is waypoint flying, where you set a route consisting of waypoints.
The program most used for waypoint flying is Litchi.
Here's an example of how you can program a route in Litchi.

The DJI Go 4 app has the ability to fly waypoints like what you are asking about, but you have to fly the route first and set the waypoints manually. In Litchi, you set up the waypoints on your phone, tablet or home computer by using a map. You can set the the height, speed, camera angle, set points of interest for waypoints to focus on, etc. Other than waypoint flying, Litchi is just another app to fly your drone, but it does have other flight modes just like DJI Go 4.
