Draw mode- only with DJI screen or ?

To use the new Draw mode can we still use your iPads or must you use the DJI integrated screen?
As nice as the new bright screen may be, I love the larger screen on my iPad mini. And that I can detach it for packing.

In the specs is does not mention exclusivity to the on board device. I would imagine it will be allowed on all devices with an update! I will ask over the DJI forums and see if a support tech can answer
Edit: Yes, on the forums DJI-Thor said all features will work on a normal device. No special features for the CrystalSky. The monitor is just an android device locked down.

It seems we can only draw a flight root on the live feed/picture and not on 2D maps like in Litchi isn't?
