P3 Firmware Downloading remote firmware for replacement remote

Hello, Dropped my remote (GL300A)and bought a used replacement(GL300B) on eBay. The owner said it was a for an advanced model and I am trying to update the firmware for a PROFESSIONAL model. I've tried to do this via usb card but nothing happens. Any help is appreciated, Jon
